Here you'll find a brewery and a gastropub where we offere tastings, meetings, a BIG outside terrace and host several big events every year. Nya Carnegiebryggeriet is looking for a Brewery Maintenance Engineer to work across both our Process & Packaging (Jordbro) and Brewing (Hammarby Sjöstad) sites. We can offer you an exciting role in a friendly team in a state-of-the-art industrial environment where we put emphasis on learning and development!
Our process starts at the brewery in Hammarby Sjöstad, where we create wort on a fully automated 40hl Rolec brewkit. We run through fermentation and dry hopping in the brewery, before tankering the beer to our site in Jordbro for centrifugation and packaging on one of our can, bottle, steel keg or PET keg lines. The majority of the equipment at our Process & Packaging sites are new and have high degrees of automation.
Main duties:
- Own and perform the facility maintenance and installation activities including preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repair, and emergency maintenance
- Maintenance planning - develop and manage
- Troubleshooting and fault finding
- Support operators in identifying and solving problems that caused breakdowns
- Contractor control and supplier point of contact
- Controlling, re-ordering and assessing equipment for critical spares
- Calibration of critical equipment
- Implementation of continuous improvement projects
- Utility readings and usage analysis
- Drive continuous improvements on packaging and processing lines
Skills & Experience Required:
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Good communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Strong record keeping abilities
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a production environment
- Mechanical maintenance experience required
- Electrical competence a plus
- Knowledge of brewing process desired but not required
- Competent in both written and spoken English and Swedish
- Ideally have driving license
- Bachelors degree in relevant subject or equivalent working experience required
